It all started when…

I was born and raised at First Reformed Church. I even worked at FRC once before as the Youth Pastor for one year back in 1999. It was there that I met my wife, Samantha. We married in 2000 and moved to Spartanburg, SC to work with Young Life. Then we moved to Catawba County, NC with Young Life before taking a job at First Baptist Church in Maryville, TN as their youth pastor. We moved back here in November of 2011 and reunited with David Franks (the pastor I grew up with) and Jeff Chewning (one of my former youth group kids at FRC). Samantha and I have been blessed with two boys, Tyson born in 2002 and Miles born in 2005, who bring so much joy into our lives. I am a huge Cubs fan and can quite often be caught wearing a Cubs hat or T-shirt. I also have quite the collection of Star Wars Legos.
